Delicate petals and soft flowers
Are cozy seats for bugs
Bees eat the delicious nectar

Nora touched all my senses with the sun, the flowers with the delightful smells, the cozy soft petals, the thunder! Very well written and takes the reader to the beautiful setting created by the poem.

I love this poem because by the end, I realize that she’s making a subtle but powerful connection between the animals she writes about and childhood. I first visualize animals playing but by the end I visualize children instead. It brings nostalgia to the reader and is very powerful!
