Periwinkle

This is a poem about a color; periwinkle.
Periwinkle is a little girl dancing in the rain.
Periwinkle is lavender petals,
brushing against your skin softly.
Periwinkle is filled with peace and serenity.
Periwinkle blooms,
with strong friendship and love.
Periwinkle is a taste of happiness sinking into your tongue.
Periwinkle is the feeling of glory,
hugging you tight.
Periwinkle bends in the mighty wind,
but never breaks.
Periwinkle is gleaming bright,
like stars in the dark night.
